Electric Air soft Guns

Air soft guns are replicas of the real hand gun and classified as toy guns. They look exactly like the real guns but the difference being in the bullets fired. There are several types of air soft pistols out of which the three main types are the air soft gun using spring, air soft gun using gas and the electric air soft varieties. In the 1990's the automatic electric air soft guns were first created in Japan due to the fact that air soft guns with higher efficiency, better performance and more power were needed.

As time went by the electric air soft guns underwent several external modifications with reinforced plastics and metal bodies added to their ex terior to make them look more realistic. This pushed up the popularity of such guns. They are different from other air soft guns due to the fact that they use electric power from battery to start a motor which causes the turning of gears inside the gun to compress and release the piston. This creates a blast of air which propels the bullet made of plastic. It has the potential to fire between three hundred to nine hundred rounds per minute and the velocities of the muzzle range between two hundred to four hundred feet per second.

Electric air soft guns are used for training purposes and for playing skirmish games. Due to the similarity in appearance to real guns, the tip of the air soft guns are painted in bright orange to distinguish them from the real weap ons.

Electric air soft guns come in automatic and semi automatic varieties and Tokyo Marui are one of the leading manufacturers of such guns. The automatic electric air soft gun made by them is one of the most powerful ones and is also the most popular in the market and is freely available internationally.
