Yachting in Puerto Vallarta

Whale watching is another of those activities that you can perform on your private yacht. But for that you will need a good sunscreen lotion, hat, a camera and some shades, and you are ready to watch humpback whales.

There are many options as to which yacht will accompany you on sea. 44 Luxury Viking Yacht is one good option with fridge and freezer, sound system, leather furniture and much more. 40 Luxury yacht The Octane is the ultimately stylish and luxurious yacht with Italian designed furniture and kitchen. But it accommodates only 8 as compared to 12 of Viking. For you are even a bigger family, opting 70 Luxury yacht The Mondrian would be a wise decision as it can take up to 14 members on board. The Italian furniture and American architecture surely makes the Yacht worthy of being chosen.

Private yacht club Vallarta and private yacht club Punta Mita can be subscribed as well. These are the clubs made for Elite members focusing on different amenities like yachting, sailing, fishing etc. You can make new life long friends and enjoy the different services offered at those clubs.

UFC 116 Preview: Lesnar-Carwin Anchors the UFC's Fourth of July Weekend

On Saturday, July 3rd, the UFC holds their annual fourth of July weekend card, always a big draw in terms of PPV numbers. Like last year, Brock Lesnar remains the main attraction to which the company is pinning their hopes of high PPV buyrates.

This card marks Lesnar's return to the promotion following a reportedly life-threatening bout with diverticulitis. Indeed, many pundits felt that Lesnar might be done in the world of mixed martial arts - and indeed, any professional competition. Waiting for him is the undefeated new interim champ, Shane Carwin. Carwin faced Frank Mir for the interim title at UFC 111, where he bludgeoned Mir into unconsciousness in the first round. He will be the first opponent for Lesnar that actually matches up in terms of size and strength. None of Carwin's opponents have made it out of the first round.

Betting fans know that Lesnar vs. Carwin is a tough call. The athleticism, speed and wrestling of Brock could very well leave Carwin without an answer to the question of how to handle the UFC champ. Conversely, one shot from Carwin could very well end Lesnar's night - especially given how poor Lesnar has looked at times on the feet. While Lesnar's crushing power cannot be understated, he clearly does not like getting punched in the face. If Frank Mir can make him sweat with a couple of knees from the clinch, and Randy Couture can frustrate him with dirty boxing, Carwin could remove him from conciousness with one well-placed shot. Sports betting fans know that this fight will come down to how well Carwin can deal with Lesnar's skillset, and how well Lesnar can avoid punishment.

Going down the card, Matt Brown takes on Chris Lytle in a rematch that has fireworks written all over it. Online sports betting fans can expect both fighters to throw away any semblance of game planning, and engage in a display of rock 'em sock 'em for the enjoyment of fans. I like Lytle to once again beat Brown. He has more experience, durability, cardio, and a better ground game. Look for "Lights Out" to put an end to Brown's night with strikes in the second.

In other action on the card, Chris Leben steps in for an injured Wanderlei Silva against Yoshihiro Akiyama. Leben is just two weeks removed from his cat-smashing of the A-train, and will look to frustrate the sexiest man in mixed martial arts, turning the fight into a slugfest. While online betting fans can't question Leben's heart, it is tough to see him winning this fight. Akiyama has shown a great chin in previous fights, and has a level of grappling that Leben cannot match.

I like Akiyama to take this fight in an exciting decision win. While I don't see either fighter being stopped in this fight, I think Akiyama beats Leben soundly in all areas of the fight. UFC 116 goes down Saturday, July 3, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Camping in the Winter

Most people like to camp in the warmth of the summer, but many adventurous people like winter camping as well. The winter offers a unique camping experience that may not be as comfortable, but it offers its own special advantages. And while safety should be a concern any time of year you go into the wilderness, you need to be extra vigilant in the winter to make sure you have fun and stay safe. Here are some things to keep in mind if your next camping adventure will come at the end of the year.

Warmth will obviously be your key concern in the winter so you'll want to make sure to bring along adequate clothing. You should always avoid cotton clothing because of its unsuitability in wet conditions and instead choose wool or something synthetic. You also want to make sure to have good footwear that can keep your feet warm and dry a t the same time. It's also a good idea to bring lots of extra clothes in case anything gets wet since it will be very uncomfortable if you have to spend your trip encased in damp clothing. And as always, remember each and every part of your body and bring things like gloves, socks, and hats to keep you well covered.

Your tent will be your most essential piece of camping gear in the winter as this will be your refuge from the cold. Look to four season camping tents to be your shelter, and don't be content to rely on a three season tent no matter how well it might serve you in the spring or fall. A good winter tent will be waterproof, and you should take further measures to seal the seams with an adhesive tape or sealant blue. You will also want to bring a good food supply that will account for your needs in colder weather. So that means plenty of carbohydrates and protein to keep your energy and heat levels up. Evidently, it might take a bit more planning to go camping in the winter, but the effort is usually worth it as you get to enjoy the outdoors in clean and crisp environment that no other time of year can offer.

Race a Criterium-Run The Road with Speed and Confidence

CLOSE QUARTERS Though racers technically shouldn't make contact in the pack, it happens often and a little preparation will help you avoid crashing. Join local group rides to build your pack-riding prowess, says Carter. For more practice, go to a grassy field with a friend and knock shoulders and handlebars at a low speed.

TRAIN FOR SPEED Successful racers can sprint out of corners lap after lap and still have energy for the finish, says Frank Overton, owner of FasCat Coaching and a Level-1 USA Cycling coach. "Anaerobic intervals develop the power to match accelerations, attacks and sprints," he says. He suggests doing this workout once a week: Warm up for 20 minutes then perform four one-minute intervals with a minute of recovery between each. When done, spin easy for five minutes, then repeat the set.

GET READY If possible, preride the course to get acquainted with its turns, rises and descents. Then, if you have a stationary trainer or rollers, complete a 30-minute easy spin 45 minutes before the start, says Overton. Finish the warm-up with three 15-second sprint efforts to prepare your body for race intensity.

CARVE TURNS "Focus on the curve's exit, not the wheel in front of you," Overton says. Keep your hands in the drops and place your weight on your outside pedal, with your foot in the 6 o'clock position. "This lowers your center of gravity and increases stability," he says. If you feel uneasy, stay outside the pack on turns--you'll have more room to correct your line.

ATTACK THE PACK There's no surefire way to predict whether a break will be successful, "but attacking when the peloton least expects it, or is just unwilling to chase, helps your odds," Carter says. Take off when another break is pulled back or in a strong headwind. If you're a climber, you can also surprise the bunch by attacking before--not on--a hill. If you're a strong sprinter, try surging ahead on a smaller climb. But, Carter adds, a break can succeed only if you strategize with other strong riders willing to work together; otherwise, you'll be back in the pack before you know it.

FINISH SMART "Focus on the last lap," Overton says. "Get yourself into the top 10 and pedal hard through the last two turns." Start your sprint about 200 meters from the line and give it everything you have. Keep your hands in the drops and your head low to reduce wind drag. Don't go for it if you're not at the head of the pack, though. Sprinting for 13th place, Overton says, is how crashes happen.

The History of Water Guns

In this time and age, it is almost impossible to claim that one did not have a certain amount of fun back in the days with water guns. Whether it was the Super Soakers or just an ordinary hand-held squirter, water guns were a mighty bunch of toys that allowed for simple fun amongst friends and family. But to truly know a toy, we need to go through the history of such, and the eventual evolution to the possible decline of current times for water guns and the demands for them.

Back in the Days
It would be fairly accurate to say that the first water guns came about in the early 80's with the introduction of the squirt gun into the consumer market. This is also noted to be the same era when most of the ideas for the more modern technology concerning water guns came from. Shortly after this, in 1984, the first Electric water guns came into the market, pushing aside the old school piston systems of the original water guns. At the dawn of the 90's the first Big Brothers of water guns came into the picture with the introduction of the Super Soakers, with the peak of their popularity right into the 21st century with the classics like Super Soaker 300 and the Legendary 98's. Finally, as we come closer to current times, possibly due to the wane of outdoor activities within the Urban Cultures across the globe, toys like water guns took a step back from Consoles and PCs.

The Basics
Essentially, a water gun, whether "high tech" like the Electric water guns or just the simple "pistols", work on the same principles. You will indeed find that there is a piston contained within a cylinder or a similar aspect, and this is where the load of water will be stored for future pumping action that will eventually eject the water from the water gun. The design of all water guns will involve a one-way valve and the amount and level of projection of water depends basically on the size of the pump cylinder. The more space there is and the more work a piston is able to do, the more water it will be able to project and the more ground it will be able to cover.

Recommended Fun
If you are reading this article and feel inspired to run out and grab some friends for some water gun shoot-outs, here are a few tips and pointers as to what to get exactly. To get used to the original fun, there is the Water Warriors Hornet, a simple side action pump water gun. It is easy to use and is able to project water fairly well, making it fun to use and sure to make a wet impact. There are also other fun water guns out in the market like the Stream Engine, a giant of a pump action gun that works like a huge syringe. But at the end of the day, if it is enough shoot around and have some summer fun, that is all that matters right?

American Barns-What you need to know!

Keeping your horses under one roof out of all the bad weather

Today we will talk about how Internal stabling can be achieved by either having a purpose built American Barn or by way of conversion of an existing building. In both cases, you will probably require planning permission to stable horses. A quick phone call to your local council planning department will clarify this.

Converting existing buildings, with internal stable partitioning, should be more economical than erecting new purpose built barns. The unexpected planning regulation that catches most people out is the requirement for a change of use of a building. If you wish to change the internal structure of your building and not outside you will probably still need to apply for planning permission.

When converting older brick built buildings, ceilings are usually higher, which is helpful to your horses needs, as larger volumes of air will aid ventilation and will be a benefit to your horse's general well being.

It is important to have sufficient airflow serving the stables themselves, badly designed indoor buildings can become unhealthy in the summer and dank and oppressive in the winter.

Additionally, good ventilation will also help deter any contagious infections that can spread rapidly in a shared airspace. It is always advisable to have alternative arrangements for isolating animals when necessary.

When looking at designs for American Barns or when converting existing barns for equine usage, it is important to be aware of the fire hazards. Ensure that you have large Barn doors that can be opened quickly and are sited at either end of your barn; so as to ensure a swift exit by all occupants should the worst happen.

Most of us aren't aware how poisonous the air can become, especially to our horses, to drive a car or tractor through our enclosed equestrian buildings. We tend to do this for easy access to deliver hay, straw etc or removing deep litter. The fumes from the vehicle exhaust are highly toxic. Try and use large hand pulled trailers, they are more environmentally friendly and safer for your horses.

Should you be considering installing an American Barn or converting an old Farm building, Contact the Prime Stables team, who will guide you in the right direction.

Martial Arts Can Be Used for Self Defense

The unfortunate truth about society is that there are dangerous people out there. They easily target people in some unsafe locations. Some target women because they think women are especially vulnerable. Fortunately, people can learn self defense through martial arts. This physical activity can allow a person to defend oneself.

A good martial arts program can teach people how to react when they are being attacked by someone. One can learn how to stop an attack. Many self defense practices can work with special maneuvers, which are used to disarm a person. These moves can be used when a person is being threatened with a deadly weapon. Disarmament moves can be used to make sure that a threat does not hurt the person. They can be used to show an attacker that a would-be victim is not someone the attackers should be trying their luck on. The program will not teach a person to simply fight back. It will work in making sure that a person does not try to advance in an attack. This is used as a means to see that a situation does not get too bad.

The most important aspect that a martial arts program can teach, with regards to self defense, is when to use these methods. Training can also be used to help a person figure out the seriousness of the threat. It will help the person understand when to use self defense. A good program can teach a person to differentiate between an event that requires self defense and one that does not. This can be used to keep everyone safe in a situation. Self defense measures are not always needed for every encounter. This part of martial arts can be taught to anyone.

Wednesday’s French Open Tennis Betting

This Wednesday sees the eleventh day's action at Roland Garros and the second group of four Quarter Final matches will be played. Who will progress to the Semi Finals? BetRepublic.com previews all four games here.

Men's Tournament Tennis Betting:

Today's action from the Men's draw sees the second and third seeds, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, battle it out against two players that I did not expect to do so well at Roland Garros in Nicolas Almagro and Jurgen Melzer. Who will be playing the last four stage of the competition?

Unsurprisingly, William Hill have made Nadal, the world number two, a massive favourite, at odds of 1/25, to defeat his fellow countryman and world number twenty-one, who is available at 9/1. It is not surprising as Nadal has won all six previous meetings between the two players and is in stunning form on the clay courts in Paris. Will Nadal claim another win against Almagro and progress to the Semi Finals?

Nadal is at home on clay and he has looked it in this year's competition so far and he has won all four matches without dropping a set. Gianni Mina fell in the first round 6-2, 6-2, 6-2 before Horacio Zeballos lost 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 in round two. Nadal then faced twenty-eighth seed Lleyton Hewitt 6-3, 6-4, 6-3 in round three before disposing of twenty-fourth seed Thomaz Bellucci 6-2, 7-5, 6-4 to book his place in the last eight of the competition. Nadal was 4/9 to win the 2010 French Open before the tournament began and they look like long odds with his displa ys so far, will he rack up another straight sets win?

Almagro started his tournament off slowly and went to five sets to defeat world number 205 Robin Haase before beating both Steve Darcis in round two and Alexandr Dolgopolov Jr in round three in straight sets. In the fourth round the Spaniard defeated one of my dark horse tips in Fernando Verdasco, dropping just one set in the process. Can he cause a second, and larger, upset in the Quarter Finals?

Nadal will not fear Almagro, having never lost to him and having beaten him on clay at last month's Madrid Masters. Nadal has dropped a set in the last two encounters between the two players but he has not dropped a set against Almagro in a Grand Slam match, including beating him 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 at the Quarter Final stage of the 2008 French Open. I feel that Nadal is almost unbeatable at the moment and he will win in straight sets, so back him to do so at odds of 4/9 with PaddyPower.com.

N ovak Djokovic v Jurgen Melzer:

This match sees the third seed take on the twenty-second seed and William Hill have made the third seed, Djokovic, a large favourite to progress at odds of 1/4. Melzer is an 11/4 outsider to progress at the expense of the Serbian, but can the Austrian cause another shock?

Melzer has dropped just two sets on route to a Quarter Final place, with the first set dropped against Nicolas Mahut in round two and the second against Teimuraz Gabashvili in round four. His best performance came in the third round, where he defeated ninth seed David Ferrer 6-4, 6-0, 7-6. Can he put in a similar performance against the world number three for a place in the final four?

Djokovic has not had the best of years on clay and of his four matches so far at Roland Garros he has only won one in straight sets, with his first, third and fourth round matches all going to four sets. Djokovic has also had a fairly easy run of things so far, with thirty-first seed Victor Hanescu in the third round being only seeded player that Djokovic has faced on his run to the last eight. Can Djokovic justify his ranking as third seed and progress to the final four?

On the previous two occasions that these players have met Djokovic has emerged victorious, however these players have never met on clay before now. Melzer is having a better time on clay this season than Djokovic, who is ranked twenty-four places higher in the ATP rankings and I feel that Melzer will cause another shock and be playing in the Semi Finals. Back him to do so at odds of 11/4 with William Hill.

BetRepublic.com Recommends:

• Back Rafael Nadal to win 3-0 @ 4/9

• Back Jurgen Melzer to beat Novak Djokovic @ 11/4

Women's Tournament Tennis Betting Tips:

Today's action in the Women's draw sees the top seed take on the seventh seed and my pre-tournament favourite take on an surprise addition to the final eight. Who will join Elena Dementieva and Francesca Schiavone in the Semi Finals?

Serena Williams v Samantha Stosur:

This match will be the fifth occasion that Williams, the top seed and world number one, and Stosur, the world number seven and seventh seed, will face each other in a competitive match. Williams leads 3-1 after their previous four matches but they have never faced each other on clay and Stosur has just eliminated the pre-tournament favourite of Justine Henin. Who will be playing the Semis?

Serena has played pretty well so far in the tournament this year and she has dropped just one set in her four matches. Stefanie Voegele was her first victim and was dispatched 7-6, 6-2 before Julia Goerges was beaten 6-1, 6-1 in round two. In round three Serena eliminated the twenty-ninth seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-1, 1-6, 6-2 and followed that up with a 6-2, 6-2 thumping of eighteenth seed Shahar Peer to book her place in the last eight. Of the nine times that Serena has played at Roland Garros she has been eliminated at the Quarter Final stage four times and has only passed this point twice, will she go out at the last eight stage again?

Samantha Stosur will be highly confident of claiming another scalp in this round after defeating Justine Henin in round four to book her place against Serena. The Australian has dropped just two sets on her way to the final eight, with one being dropped against Henin and she showed a weakness against Rossana De Los Rios, ranked 102 in the WTA rankings, by dropping a set in their second round match. After beating Henin can Stosur cause another shock?

PaddyPower.com do not believe that she can and they have made Serena Williams the favourite at odds of 2/5 compared to Stosur's odds of 7/4. Of their pre vious four meetings all have come on hard courts and they have never met on clay, which is not one of Serena's favourite surfaces. As a result of this, and the confidence that she will have after her round four win, I am backing Samantha Stosur to eliminate Serena Williams.

Jelena Jankovic v Yaroslava Shvedova:

This match sees the world number four in Jankovic take on the world number thirty-six in their fourth ever meeting. PaddyPower.com have made Jankovic the favourite to progress to the final four stage at odds of 2/11 compared to 7/2 for Shvedova. Will the match go according to the odds?

Jankovic was my pre-tournament favourite to win the title and she has looked in excellent form in all four of her matches so far. She has dropped just one set, against Kaia Kanepi in round two, and eliminated Alona Bondarenko, the twenty-seventh seed, and Daniela Hantuchova, the twenty-third seed, in her last two matches. She has looked good on clay all of this year, but will there be a shock in this match?

Shvedova has also dropped just one set on her route to the last eight of the tournament and she has also eliminated two seeded players on the way. In the first round she disposed of Sara Errani 6-1, 7-5 before defeating eighth seed Agnieszka Radwanska 7-5, 6-3 in round two. She followed that up with 6-2, 4-6, 6-0 win over twenty-eighth seed Alisa Kleybanova before breezing by Jarmila Groth 6-4, 6-3 to book her place in the Quarter Finals.

These two players have met on three previous occasions, with Jankovic leading 2-1 on the scorecard. All three matches have been played on hard courts and all three matches have gone to three sets. Shvedova's only win came at last year's US Open, can she eliminate the world number four at another Grand Slam? I can't see it happening but I see the match going to three sets again, so back a Jankovic 2-1 win at odds of 17/5 with William Hill.

BetRepublic.com Recommends:

• Back Samantha Stosur to beat Serena Williams @ 7/4

• Back Jelena Jankovic to win 2-1 @ 17/5
