Brookbank Sailing Grand Opening

Brookbank Sailing's new 9,000 square foot sailing and kayaking North London superstore was opened in grand style in December 2009.
Legendary GBR ex-Olympic sailing coach Jim Saltonstall was on hand with a well-received speech about "Championship Preparation" which was of great interest to all the sailors present getting ready to compete in 2010.

The new store is just a few minutes from Junctions 25 & 26 of the M25 in Waltham Abbey. It is only 200 metres from the entrance to the Broxbourne White Water centre currently being built for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The flagship London store is a fantastic new addition to already established stores in Perth, Warwickshire, Stockport, Carlisle and Lancaster. They stock a great range of kayaks and canoes including sit on top kayaks.

The new London store is supported by an excellent easy to use website where you can find an enviable range of canoes and kayaks.

As you would expect all the best makes and models are online as well as second hand kayaks and canoes. These used kayaks and used canoes are ideal if you are just starting out or you just want a general-purpose boat before specialising.

If you want to shoot the rapids or just want to enjoy some river play, Brookbank Sailing has the kayaks and canoes you will need. If your children are interested in this exciting sport, or you would like to encourage them to be, then you will find an excellent range of junior equipment from kayaks, clothing, helmets and paddles.
Brookbank Sailing is part of Brookbank Ltd, the largest retailer of kayaks and canoes in the UK. Brookbank's London store stocks an extensive range of clothing, hardware, ropes, spars, instruments and the Topper Sailboat range of dinghies as well as a large range of canoeing equipment.

Mark Burch (Director of Brookbank Ltd) said "This is an exciting new venture for the Brookbank group of stores and we recognise the huge opportunity for sailors in the region to access a comprehensive range of clothing and equipment with a friendly and knowledgable staff headed up by Simon Butterworth as Branch Manager."

Simon Butterworth commented, "With over a hundred sailing and yachting clubs within an hour's drive, we hope that sailors will pop into the store and we welcome everyone to access the full range of quality sailing products online.
